Kevin Yang, co-founder of Proof of Learn, has been honored as one of the “People to Watch 2025” by the Asia Leaders Awards, recognizing his significant contributions to education technology and his innovative approach to integrating blockchain with learning platforms.

Before venturing into the Web3 education space, Yang played a pivotal role at McDonald’s Philippines.

He played a key role in the team’s development and expansion of the business’s mobile and web applications. These platforms received over 10 million downloads and brought in almost $100 million in 2021 under his direction.

Transitioning from his achievements in the fast-food industry, Yang co-founded Proof of Learn, a Web3 education platform that incentivizes students by allowing them to earn rewards as they learn. One of its flagship initiatives, Metacrafters.io, is a game designed to teach blockchain coding skills, effectively merging education with interactive technology.
